Pisreoga connected with churning.
There is an old saying, that when a person is churning it is not right to put out ashes, or to go out with a lighted coal. It is also said, that if a stanger comes into the house, while the churning is going on it is not lucky to let the person out without taking the churn-dash, for a minute or two. Other people say that it is right to put a coal, and a grain of salt, under the churn while the churning is going on.
If these pisreoga are not observed, it is said there will be no butter in the milk.(continues on next page)
