    There is a lios or fort in Blackfort Castlebar. The name of the townland is Garryduff. The lios is round and there is a hole in the middle of it. There is a [ ] around it and trees growing in the ditch. The ruins of a castle built by a Norman chief names Barry are beside it. Both the lios and the castle belonged to Barry. They are beside a lake named Lough Lanna.
