  1. The name given to the Leipreachan in this district is the little Geanncanach. He is about an inch high and he lives under a mushroom. He wears a red suit and blue cap and blue shoes with turned-up toes that he made himself under the mushroom.
He mostly lives on shoemaking. He is never seen in the daytime only at night; he can be seen with the light of the moon. The Leipreachan is a very rich fairy.
He has a crock of gold hid. He is never in the same spot always and so it would be hard for anyone to catch him. No one ever got any of his gold as he is too wise for that.
