    beag gets its name from a small rock which is in the field. "Jamie's piece" gets its name from a farmer who owned the field long ago.
    Garraí mór is a big level field and that is how it got its name. Fort piece gets its name from a fort which was in the field. The scrait is a wet field and that is why it is so called.
    There is a river running through the village which separates the village from Carrabawn
