    "Luck money" is always given with an animal when sold and this money is nearly always spit on.
    When a bargain is made the person who is selling the articles would make the buyer hold out his hand and slap it and shout "are you giving them" if they struck the bargain they would nearly always go and have a drink.
    The principal fairs held in Castlebridge are on the 11th. April, 16th. May and 13th. June.
    There are little or no fairs here now long ago it used to be a great place for them they used to reach a mile on each road out of the village.
    The halter is never given away with any animal when sold only a horse.
    When animals are sold cow dung and mud is put on them to mark them, the sheep are
