    Old Cures
    Burn - Bees wax.
    Kidney suet.
    Mix both well together. Add sweet Oil.
    ______________________
    Scurfy.
    2 glasses of white wine vinegar
    1/2 lbs of salt butter
    3 a prepiciled powder (poison)
    Boil butter and vinegar together.
    Allow to simmer for 1/4 hr.
    Put into jar to cool All off vinegar.
    Mix prepiciled powder well through ointment.
    Spread on old piece of cloth and apply ever second day. ( A good dose of salts - Spirits avoided)
