   and he says "My Wexford boys
   to do a deed I'm willing that
   will make your heart rejoice.
   If you a hand will lend me
   the bailiffs we'll overthrow
   and we'll prove the fires of
   '98 still burn all in Coolroe."

   For we are the boys of Wexford
   who fought with heart and hand
   to free the homes our fathers built
   And die for Ireland.

   "A smith I am by trade
   My father was a farmer
   Long in his grave he's laid.
   The house that we were
