  1. Over twenty years ago there lived in Glenflesk a man of about twenty years of age.
    One time he was going to Macroom for foodstuffs. The journey was long and he had to start in the middle of the night. He had travelled a long journey when he met a woman in the road. He thought that she was going the same journey as himself was and he asked her into his cart. She did not say a word only went into the cart
