Crosses were made from straw in honour of St. Bridgid and hung up in the house. On St. Patrick;s day a harp is worn and sometimes shamrock. Shamrock is kept int he house in honour of St. Patrick. It is known as the garden shamrock. Palm is worn on palm Sunday because on that day our Lord was going along.
