    Neighbours help each other in setting of potatoes.
    Great care is taken of potatoes while growing.
    Drills are split and one thrown over on the other. The earth is loosened and furrowed so as to give opportunity of growth.
    Later they are weeded and sprayed so as to prevent the blight.
    Then the earth is moulded against the stalks, this is called moulding the potatoes.
    Early potatoes are dug in July and August and the rest are dug in September and October.
    They are then stored in a shed or barn or in a pit in the garden.
    A deep hole is dug into which the potatoes are put and covered with earth and hay. Sometimes they are left in a heap
