  1. Many travelling folk come to our district still, but most of them that were well know are dead.
    Mr Grimes who goes about with a pony and cart comes every week to our house selling delph and gathering bottles and rags.
    Jack Mc Court is another well known man that goes about from place to place. He knows a lot of Irish and when he meets us, he always greets us in Irish.
    Every month a band of Gipsies comes to our district and they sell lace, lives of saints, prayer books, and camphor. There is a
