the man was at Church first, The bride was late for luck. The lady wore
    "Something old and something new,
    Something borrowed and something blue."
She did not look into the mirror when she was going out.
Wednesday was supposed to be the luckiest day to get married. Confetti and rice were thrown at the married couple. A string of old boots was thrown at them going home for luck.
A wedding cake was bought for breakfast. The breakfast was held in the bride's house. The people in the house got a small piece of the wedding-cake and put it out through the ring. Then they kept it. The pride cut the wedding-cake.
After the breakfast, they went for a drive. In the evening the neighbours came in. There was music and sometimes a dance. Everyone liked to have a present.
