    1. Get six leaves of an oak tree, boil them and drink the water in which they were boiled.
    2. Make the sign of the cross 14 times in honour of the 14 Stations (with a gold ring) on the affected part.
    Wildfire.
    1. Rub part affected with the blood of a black cat.
    Toothache.
    1. Catch a snail and rub him on the tooth for 9 mornings and 9 nights.
    2. Catch a frog and rub its legs to the tooth and the pain will go.
    3. Rub mustard to the gum.
    Measles.
    Get 8 mountain-ash berries and leave them out on wall till they wither.
    Warts.
    1. Make the sign of the cross 8 times on each or wash them in sea water.
    2. Get a pebble for every wart,
