    Mary Bunty or Mary the pratie, used to visit the well annually after St Patrick's Day and make her collection of the pennies left in the well. This rumour of course is of doubtful beracity.
    The well on Corn Hill is supposed to have been blessed by St Patrick too. An annual pilgrimage like the one to Tubberpatrick is embarked upon to this well too. A similar accumultion of rags pins and pennies is left behind by the pilgrims. Great healing powers are attrebuted to the waters
