  1. There is a girl in the locality and she has the cure of ringworm. She gets nine oaten straws with a knot in each, and burns them with a blessed candle, and with the ashes of these she makes an ointment. She wets the ashes with Holy Water. This ointment is rubbed on the ringworm nine times on nine consecutive mornings saying each time, " In the name if the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost." She has cured many people in the district.
