  2. There are but few old roads in Navan. There is one known as the Athlumney road. It is about half a mile long. There is a hill at one end of this road where it crosses the railway line. A little farther down this road is a graveyard. Nearby is a great big castle know as Athlumney Castle, which is a very historic spot in the County Meath.
    There is another old road known as "Beachmount", leading south from Navan. Very few houses are situated here. It is thickly
