    St Cianan's mother was very ill she asked for a drink of water. St Cianan did not want to leave her to travel to the well in the park and he prayed to God that he might be able to get a drink for his mother.
    Immediately he did do this well sprang up. He took a drink of the water to his sick mother and almost instantly she was cured.
