- (continued from previous page)St Cianan's mother was very ill she asked for a drink of water. St Cianan did not want to leave her to travel to the well in the park and he prayed to God that he might be able to get a drink for his mother.
Immediately he did do this well sprang up. He took a drink of the water to his sick mother and almost instantly she was cured.
- Near by the garden which is owned by Mr McKenna on the Commons is a well known as Blessed Nicholas's well.This was a very holy man(continues on next page)
