  1. Rose Noble is a great cure for festering wounds, constitutional lumps, &c. It is locally known as "Stinking Rogers".
    Camomile Tea is used for stomach trouble
    Sorrel is said to be good for headache.
    Marsh Mallows for poulticing
    Mull or Mullen plant cures consumptiom
    Nettles boiled clean the blood. Some people boil nettles with cabbage & use it for dinner. They are often used boiled & chopped in colcannon.
    Poppy tea cures toothahe breaks, gum boils & abcesses.
    Garlic is good for colds.
    Celery is good for Rheumatism
    Buglass (seaweed) was used in poulticing
    Sloes (steeped in cold water with a little gin added, are good for sore throat) The water in which sloes have heen steeped, with gin added is a good gargle for sore throat
    Comfrey Root cures Rheumatism
