    There were other houses in the townsland long ago. One of these houses was called The Masters as he used to teach at one of the hedge schools. another house was Kennedys.
    There were two shops in this Townsland long ago = Kil Phádraig's and Kit Tuathal's. The way they kept accounts were strokes for pennies and 0 for shillings. Kit Tuathal used to go around the country buying eggs.
