    Shannon. This factory is run by a German who worked on the Shannon Scheme, and who married a Galway girl. Stockings, Sports Hose, and Knitted Jumpers & Suits may be obtained there, and the charge is quite moderate.
    Home made boots are obtained from Mr. Hynes of Portumna, who makes them in his own home. He is assisted by his son.
