- There was a woman and her daughter living in a house. They went for a walk one evening and she said to her daughter that they forgot to shake the Holy Water. When they came back they went shaking it. When they were shaking it they saw a hare in the bedroom. They put out the hare. She told her daughter to throw a stone at her. She did and she got lame.

- At a point on the Glen Road from Leamlara to Tomaisín Bridge - At Daly's Gate of Ballycrana a man saw a woman late at night pushing a pram with a child and a candle light. He said Hello and she struck him and put his jaw back there (ie near his ear).
