    It was also called snap apple night
    This was putting a tub of water in the middle of the floor.
    Apples and sometimes a few Shillings were put into it
    Some persons used volunteer to get out the apples without touching the tub with their hands.
    This was not an easy task but it made great fun.
    They usually finished up with an all night dance.
