  1. There was a holy well long ago near Knockrobbin House. All the people used come there to be cured. When they came they always left pieces of cloth on the palm-tree over the well. Anybody who touched those cloths would get the same disease the people had. Nobody took water out of it.
    The well is there still.
    The palm-tree is not.
    Living people do not remember seeing anyone come there.
