  1. About 60 years ago, there was a man named John Rearden[?] who worked for a priest. One night the priest got a sick call, and he woke up his man to get the pony and trap ready. Off they went on their journey of about four or five miles. When they reached the house the man was dying, so the priest anointed him. On their way home, when they were about a 100 yards from the sick man's house they saw a cat standing
