  1. Roscommon is my home district. There are many places of importance in and surrounding the Town such as the Castle, Lough, Abbey and many Holy Wells.
    The Castle is built with stones and it is said the mortor which was used in building the Castle was mixed with the blood of Bullocks. In the year 1641 the Castle was attacked and it was never rebuilt. The Castle is built in the Lough. In the Lough there is a little hill which is called the Hill of Bones. There is a bottomless well in the Lough which is called the Lords Well. Where the present Convent school is
