    A wren builds its nest in a hawthorn tree and it is covered on top with twigs and moss. A magpie builds its nest like the wren and they are the only two that cover them.
    The old people say that when Our Lord was dying on the cross a Robin came and cleaned the blood off his head with his breast and that is why he has the red breast
