About two hundred years ago there was a mission in St John's church.

About two hundred years ago there was a mission in St John's church. Every day crowds used to come to confession, and it was very hard to get near the confession box during the day. One night a man named Dan Healy was at the mission, and he stayed in the church all night so that he could get confession first in the morning. That night about twelve o'clock Dan heard a bell ringing, and the next minute he saw an altar boy and a priest whom he knew to be dead two years that night. Dan heard the priest saying mass, but when he looked towards the altar he could see nothing.
