  1. Long ago there was a large number of tailors in this district. At that time there were no factories and the clothers was made by the tailors. there are only three Now tailors in this Parish. The tailors keep the cloth themselves. Some people still get clothes made by tailors. One of the tailors in this district sells boots and stockings. Some of the women in this district knit stockings for their children. They buy the thread in the shops. Long ago the thread was made at home in the houses. Now there are large factories for making it.
    The tailors in this district work at their own homes.
