    Before the last of this family left the district, they divided their lands among the tenants that had small farms. All the land in the district round Hollybrook and Ballinafad is in the "Ffolliot estate".
    There is a story connected with this family. Once when Colonel Ffolliot was returning home from a hunt, a party of robbers was going to raid and kill him, when a man named Willie Reilly saved his life. This man was a rebel and the Colonel brought him home and had all kinds of entertainments for him.
