    were aided by bailiffs. The evicted people were somethimes inclined to attack the house they were evicted from so the landlords employed men to protect those houses and those men were called "emergency men"
    One of the saddest of the evictions which took place was the evicting of a Mrs. Gilhooly. Glostremon. This was a widow woman and she had nine small children.
    This woman when evicted went to live to the Land league House which I have just mentioned.
