    A woman named Mrs Hogarty used to make a cough bottle. She boiled ivy leaves and added liquorice and whiskey. Then she strained the liqued and bottled it. A woman named Mrs. Carter used to make cough bottles also. She boiled wheat and strained it and she added sugar candy, liquorice and whiskey.
