There is a certain herb that is very good for whooping cough it is very rare and hard to find. The juice is extracted from it and it is taken fasting for three mornings in succession. Anyone doing this will not whoop in it.
    Ferrits leavings and donkey's milk is also good for whooping cough. A plaster can be made of ribleaf and apply to a cut or wound and it is wonderful. Pennyleaf is good for a burn and can be found plentiful on the walls of old houses, flag root or ellestrum is also good for curing cuts & wounds. It is an old saying that the seventh son of a family has the gift of curing. It is also said that a child that never saw its father has a cure.
