  1. The name of my town-land in which I live is called "Raw". In the district there is a fort, and that is why it was called Raw.
    There are about 8 families in the district. There are about 39 people in Raw. There are three thatched houses.
    "Connolly" is the common name in the District. The old[?] person in the district is Mary Pritchard. She spent most of her young days working in the flax-mills. She was also a great Knitter. There is the ruins of an old mill in Raw. My great-grandfather (y) used to take in the toll paid on corn and wheat. in the mill
