  1. I got these cures from my mother Mrs. O'Brien Lissivane Milltown Co. Kerry.
    Whoopingcough.
    Anything got from a married pair of the same name was supposed to cure the whoopingcough.
    Colds.
    To drink the juice of boiled dandelion.
    Boils.
    To put comfrey to the boil so as to draw the matter from it.
    Burns.
    To boil the bark of elm and rub the juice to the burn.
