    black dog came out before them and the eldest of
    them took up stones and started pegging him
    The dog jumped accross the ditch and a ball of
    fire came out on his mouth. The brother kept
    pegging him till he came to Tivanagh and he
    got weak there and could not peg him any-
    more and the other brother had to carry him
    home. the dog followed them to a stream that was running accross the road and he diss-
    appeared there.
