  1. Science has progressed in such a degree that at the present moment we have astonishing scientific instruments. One of the principal of them is the barometer. Long ago, people had to depend on signs by the sun, sky, moom and stars. Some of the people in my vicinity forecast the kind of weather we are going to have by the following signs:- (1) When the sun is of vivid red, frost is expected. (2) When the moon is on its back rain is expected and (3) when the new half moon has two sharp points it is the sign of storm. (4) When the stars sparkle it is also the sign of storm (5) When the clouds are black it is the sign of rain. (6) The west wind brings most rain to our district, and the north wind snow. (7) When a rainbow is seen in the sky it is the sign of rain, (8) also when there is a ring round the moon rain is expected.
