    Bhí fear na chómhnuidhe i bparróiste Fionntráighe i mbaile an t-sléibhe. Níor ghéill sé riamh don lá. Do cheap sé ná raibh ann acht ráiméis. Thosaig sé air a chuid féir agus a stácaí a leagadh chun go leigfheadh sé an ghrian agus an triomacht tríotha. Ní raibh acht an stáca deanach críochnuighthe aige. Lá aoibhinn áluinn a b'eadh é ná raibh puth gaoithe san spéir. Tháinig aon feóthan amháin gaoithe agus d'árduig sé leis na stácaí agus sgaip ar fuaid an pharróiste iad agus a bhformhór amach san chuan.
