    them and when they died from starvation they were only thrown into the work and buried. Before land was divided it is said people of Meenogahane tilled the fort and sowed crops in it.
    There is half a fort near the cliff in Meenogahane and the name it gets is the Liosín. Old people state that opposite that half of the fort, there is the other half across the Shannon in County Clare.
