    Till he got overawed and cowed
    At the appearance of the crowd
    At length a man asked for his name,
    And for the place from whence he came
    His answer was "Im far from home
    And to you all I am unknown"
    "But then no rebel I might fear
    If Tom Gilheany had been here".
    A lusty novice did then cry out
    "Pray tell what's all this about
    For if not mentioned for a ban
    The word Gilheany, here I am".
    "Now Tom Avic" the yeoman said,
    "I think Im worthy of your aid"
    At least Im sure you must allow
    If that you do but know me now"
    So when he took a look at Bob
    He says to him "Fear not this mob"
    "Because your cause ill rectify
    At any cost were I to die
    The horse he grappled by the head
    And the intruders quickly fled
    Gilheany brought him home that night
