one occasion there was a man by the name of Lenehan cutting down a large tree in the middle of the fort.
When he cut down the tree, to his astonishment, the tree began to bleed. He brought it into the kitchen and still it continued bleeding. His wife was on the verge of fainting when Lenehan took the tree in his hands and ran at top speed to the fort where he cut it, but to his surprise it had stopped bleeding. He ran back to the house and when he reached home the blood had vanished.
