- This man was a mason and was building a church in England and his wife was in Ireland and she had a large chest in her house. The English people were to kill the "Gobán Saor" when he would have the church finished but when he found out this he said he could not finish it unless he had a trowel that was in the chest in Ireland and he said that his son would have to go for it and that the contractor should go with him. So his son and the contractor went to Ireland for it when they reached the house they were searching the chest the son put the contractor into the chest and kept him there until the gobán saor was let home or else he would not let out the contractor out of the chest.
