The Corkline leads from Listowel directly to Cork and the part nearest to my native townland is that which runs through the townlands of Rylane and Beecher's lane both of which adjoin Knockmeal. It was made about ninety years ago and it was then the common route of the people carrying butter to the Cork market
There is a ford in the river Feale about half a mile from Duagh in place called Kilmorna(continues on next page)- Collector
