    Q: How is a man up stairs beating his wife. compared to a gentleman.
    Ans: Because he is above doing a mean thing.
    Q: A little thing. A little thing, smaller than a mouse, has more windows than a king's house.
    Ans: A Thimble.
    Q. I walked till I got it and when I sat down to look for it I couldn't get it and I brought it home with me.
    Ans: A thorn in my foot.
    Q. As I sat in my window high. Waiting for one; and two passed by. The bushes would shake and my head would quake looking at the hole that the fox would make.
    Ans. A fox going by with a goose in his mouth.
    Q. As I sat in my window looking under my winkers. I saw the dead carrying the living. O wasn't that a wonderful thing.
    Ans. A boat with people in it.
    Q. As white as snow and snow it isn't. As green as grass and grass it isn't. As red as blood and blood it isn't. As black as ink and ink it isn't.
    Ans. A black-berry (white from the blossom).
