    high houses and the kitchen is usually in the middle of the house with a room each side. There are not many houses of the modern type in this village.
    There are two ponds in my home district. One is an historical pond, because when Cromwell's soldiers were in Licmollasey the people of the district threw the bell of the Church that was in Licmollasey into this pond. In order that Cromwell's soldiers would not get it.
    The land in this village is good tilling land and also good grazing land.
