    round this district. His name is “John Mac Keown” He had a little tin box with him he was selling little brushes and combs. He said “he was from Ennis in Co Cork. He used to have a van and an old horse. Now he is travelling on foot.
    Charlie Kelly is an old man who came from Stranorlar. He always comes to our house on a Sunday. He is always looking for horse hair.
    Patrick Anderson from Ballybun is a pedler. He has a pack of clothes on his back. Patrick Bryne is another pedler he goes round selling tea.
