He never grew one inch afterwards.- Once there were four Gentlemen stopping in Ardara. They had two good hounds and two guns. Every day they used to go out hunting and shooting. One day they were out hunting in a broad moor in Atlinagapple about four miles from Ardara.
However this day they were shooting for a long time but got nothing. Near this moor there lived an old woman and her grandson. They were very poor and for nearly a month the boy had been crying for a pair of shoes but his Grandmother was too poor to buy them.
She told her grandson to go down to the gentlemen and tell them that he would rise them a hare which none of them would catch.(continues on next page)- Collector
