  1. Landlord De Clifford was very kind to his tenants and never evicted any of them in this locality. His agent A G. G. Algi, and he held an office in Toomore and Balla every year to collect the money for the landlord. Mr. John Ruddy was the bailiff living in Toomore and he notified the people when it was time to pay the rents.
    They had their land at fifteen years settlement, some paid the rents and more couldn't. Then at the end of the fifteen years he put five or ten shillings on the coming years rent in order
