    times and each time he measures the head to find out whether it got narrow and when it is closed he is cured.
    Curing a wart:- A black snail was found and rubbed on the wart. The snail was then put on a thorn bush to wither.
    Curing a sprain:- A thread that was found is tied round the sprained limb while this "prayer" is said,
    "Our lord went out hunting,
    He had an ass,
    He sprained his foot
    He put blood to blood and flesh to flesh
    Every vein in its own place
    And as he cured that
    He may cure this".
    Curing the ringworm:- The seventh son or daughter of a family rubs his hand on it in the sign of the cross.
    Curing thalach which is a sort of numbness in the hand:- The skin of an eel is tied
