- The Carols have been sung in Kilmore parish church since the 17th century. They were composed by Father Peter Devereux parish priest of Kilmore, and ever since there is a tradition that a Peter Devereux mus be one of the singers.There are Carols for Christmas Day, The Epiphany, and New Year's Day.
