  2. there are two tailors in Kilcullen. Mr M. Kelly and Mr. J. Kelly.
    There is a woman named Mrs. Lamb who knits socks with a machine. The thing the tailor uses are the scissors chalk thread and the iron. There are stockings knitted by hand in Ireland. There were spinning wheels out long ago but there are none out now in this district.
